FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a chain bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is custom-fitted and welded to stay on without a clasp. It is designed to be long-lasting and worn continuously.
2. How long does it last?
With proper care, permanent jewelry can last for years. At Lucky Links, we use high-quality, durable materials that are resistant to tarnishing and everyday wear.
3. Can it be removed if I need to?
Yes! Chains can be removed easily with wire cutters or scissors. If you plan to have your chain re-welded later, please cut it at the jump ring where it was originally attached.
4. What if it breaks?
While permanent jewelry is made to be long-lasting, it is not indestructible, and breaks can occasionally occur. Lucky Links offers complimentary rewelding and resizing for any jewelry originally purchased from Lucky Links.
5. Do you reweld jewelry purchased elsewhere?
Yes! We are happy to reweld outside jewelry for a fee of $15 per weld.
This fee is waived if:
- You purchase a new piece from Lucky Links during the same visit, or
- You are an existing Lucky Links client (even if the piece being rewelded was not originally purchased from Lucky Links).
Please note: While we are happy to attempt repairs on outside jewelry, we cannot guarantee the quality or durability of chains not sourced from Lucky Links.
6. Can I get my jewelry adjusted later?
Absolutely! Jewelry can be resized smaller, or we can add a charm or extender to adjust it slightly larger if needed.
7. How should I care for it?
To keep your jewelry in excellent condition, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and clean it gently with mild soap as needed.
